Meeting (Via Zoom)

The South Bay Apple Users Group has been around for over 30 years.  We are a group of 72+ Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch aficionados.

7:00 PM Beginners Q&A

7:45PM On Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, there will be a meeting with George Wilde of the SBAMUG  with a presentation on the Apple World Wide Developers Conference.

Here is George’s description:

Last week Apple announced the details of many new and exciting OS features coming to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. These features will be included in the updated iPhone, iPad, and Mac operating systems which will be released this fall,  The updated operating systems will be called iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and MacOS 15 Sequoia. But with the plethora on new features it may difficult to sort out which features might be most useful to SBAMUG members. The press around Apple/s updates has centered mostly around AI – but that is only a part of the story. In this presentation I will give an overview of these new features and capabilities, and which Apple devices are compatible with the new releases. I will then drill down to those features which I feel would be most useful to you, which features are only available on selected devices, which features will be available at launch, and which features will come in later releases.

Note the core group has decided to move the start time to 7:00 PM for the Beginners group and the main presentation at 7:45PM. This returns the  regular starting time to 7:45 unlike last month’s earlier start time.
