PV ARC Lighthouse weekend

The PV ham radio club participated in the international lighthouse weekend at Point Vicente Lighthouse. The idea is to contact as many other lighthouses as possible via HF ham radio. I joined the club on Friday, and was able to make a few long distance contacts myself. The light house is a wonder. Check out the fresnel lens, each strip of glass was hand ground in the 1800's.
We had a picnic Sunday afternoon, and voted on the design for the club banner.
